A girl drawn while on the phone.
I’m a cartoonist living in Portland Oregon. I recently finished a graphic novel called The Chairs’ Hiatus which you can read for free.
Come back when you can and I’ll try and make it worth it.
I just posted the largest update I’ve ever done to The Chairs’ Hiatus. I realized recently I’ve really got to pick up the pace with these if I plan to have the story done this summer. So expect things to start happening.

I just put this up on the drawings page. It’s a poster I made for a brillant group of poets called The Whirlwind Company.
I’ve posted about them before here and here and highly recommend you checking them out if your a fan of spoken word.
They are going to be touring throughout the month of February so stop by their tour page to see if they are going to be near.
Thanks to my buddy Bryan and Carson for helping me out with the poster.
I did this drawing using Brushes as a present for my girlfriend. The cats are all our cat Annie playing, evedently, at the end of the world. I like the point in the video when you see me give up on drawing the other side of the road and just throw in a cliff.

I just posted another page to “The Chairs’ Hiatus”, the comic that I’m working on. I’m glad too. I was getting a bit sick of drawing that department store. Matthew Bogart › The Chairs Hiatus

A drawing I did of girlfriend for a flavors.me site I put together for her. She’s a librarian. And cool.
UPDATE: Girlfriend is all finished with the site. You can take a look at it here if you like.
These are drawings I did for my family this year. The way piles of snow can accumulate on the smallest paces, like telephone wires, handrails, and super thin three branches, has always struck me as fucking awesome.
