The update to my tumblr theme “On The Road” that I mentioned is up and can be installed here.
I’m a cartoonist living in Portland Oregon. I recently finished a graphic novel called The Chairs’ Hiatus which you can read for free.
Come back when you can and I’ll try and make it worth it.
The update to my tumblr theme “On The Road” that I mentioned is up and can be installed here.
UPDATE: My first experiment with coding sites for the iPhone has only served to show me how much I really need to learn about writing HTML and CSS. I’m afraid what looked okay in the iphone simulator on my Mac looks pretty bad on an actual iPhone. That’s what I get for publishing without really testing. Live and learn. I’m still new at this stuff.
After spending several hours trying to fix the problem I’m afraid I’ve run out of time and come to the decision that the whole theme should be rewritten which I don’t have time to do. Perhaps someday.
For now I’m simply pulling the mobile version of the theme. Perhaps someday I’ll try to work it out. I apologize to anyone who installed the changes. You should be able to undo them by simply deleting the custom page named “iphone-theme” that was created.

I like that the last two notes in new contact box are comments about the custom tumblr theme I posted a few months ago, and both end with opposite emoticons.
Thank you both for leaving a note. I appreciate any feedback I can get.
I see what you are saying erica93 about the themes green background color. It’s pretty bold, and it has a tendency to look drastically different depending on the screen. I picked it because I liked it but it’s not for everyone. Luckily, the theme does have a nifty ability to change colors based on your taste. Here’s how:
First, install the theme and head to your blogs customization screen, which you can get to either by clicking here or by going to your dashboard and clicking on something that looks like this:
It should be on the right side of the page, under the name of your blog.
This will bring you to your blogs customization screen where you have all kinds of nifty options including the editing of theme colors. If you click on the appearance drop down you can see most of the colors used in the theme. Clicking on a color gives you a little selection palette to choose what you would like to change it to. Pick the color, click “Save” in the upper right and you’re all set!

You can’t edit every color in the theme, but it still gives you a lot of control.
There are all kinds of neat little tricks that tumblr allows theme builders to include on this customization screen, so even if you’re using a theme by someone else it’s worth taking a look at. Your blog may have tricks up it’s sleeve that you didn’t even know about.
If anyone else is having trouble or has a question let me know and I’ll see if I can help.
